A Collection of Tags, Information, and Trivia
Wyrmwood is a novel project being written by myself and my wife Lee. Here you can find my collection of writing tags that are my own compilations of inspiration, reference, and the other various things that make me think about the project. I feel like it all paints a pretty good picture of what it’s supposed to be.

Wyrmwood - The Main Characters
- ✿ the cadhain family - a scottish-irish immigrant family that near single-handedly manages all matter of magical, unusual, and supernatural disturbances for the surrounding three counties. scott the father, and his children, aisling, the oldest, and robin, the youngest. the wife is dead
- ✿ scott cadhain - a sailor who loves his children with all of his being. he works for the town itself, and whoever hires him for his services, but mostly works for the headmistress of the private academy. he doesn’t know what happened, but has watched aisling get sadder and knows daiman’s responsible.
- ✿ aisling cadhain - tired and slowly accumulating a serious substance abuse problem, he is the oldest son of scott. he’s trying to get over an unreported abusive relationship with daiman when he was younger
- ✿ robin cadhain - a wide eyed lesbian who’s only goal is to stay on the honor roll and keep her relationship with her demon girlfriend stable, while also avoiding her near two dozen other accidental girlfriends who may or may not know about each other.
- ✿ the toivonen family - moira and her son elio. the father is absent. they travel across america, mostly the western portions to avoid congested roadways, in a horse drawn reading wagon.
- ✿ moira toivonen - a single mother, fortune teller, potion brewer, and powerful clairvoyant. she has raised elio alone, and has lied to him about their past and their family history. she dies in a fire when elio is eighteen.
- ✿ elio toivonen - sheltered and nervous, he’s spent his life in a mix of homeschooling and online school. what he lacks in social situations he makes up for in magical talent and a way with horses. when his mother dies, he briefly moves in with daiman and dabbles in work for scott. he’s currently dating daiman.
- ✿ the zacharov family - immigrated from russia. they are the opposite of a happy family. the mother left and the father remarried. keywords: beer bottles, bruises, a lack of sleep, emancipation, wishing someone was dead.
- ✿ daiman zacharov - the oldest son. he works for scott. dropped out of high school when he turned sixteen and was emancipated. he fought for custody of his brother and succeeded. was in an abusive relationship with aisling, who is almost four years younger. he covers up his guilt with drug use.
- ✿ victor zacharov - born anya, he has since transitioned into victor. four years younger than daiman, he attends the wyrmwood magical academy. he lacks a natural aptitude, but gets good grades. best friends with aisling.
- ✿ pika zacharov - a fae refugee that Daiman both takes into his home and takes custody of. despite being one hundred and three years old, he’s only fifteen or sixteen in his kinds years. spent seven years in basically human trafficking before daiman stole him from the backroom of a pet shop.
- ✿ elio & daiman - they met as children, and have been exchanging letters ever since. they’ve skirted around each other their whole lives, and have slowly begun dating. they’re the most important person in each others lives, though it might not be as romantic as they like to think. elio does not know about aisling.

Wyrmwood - Extras
- ✿ gelynas “sigil” liepa - a vampire born in the late 1600’s in the poland-lithuania Commonwealth. he was caught by the market during WWII while he and his companions were fleeing both the German and Soviet lines. for seventy years, he spent his time as a commodity, serving in the Gardens as a prostitute.
- ✿ archimedes novak - an oracle who works in the market as a witch hunter.
✿ iron - thin and fast and red. an equal mix of azawakh and pharaoh hound
✿ chains - massive, black, most similar to a cane corso

Wyrmwood - The Support & the Setting
- ✿ wyrmwood - a town so steeped in conspiracy and magic that some people don’t believe it exists. began as a parody of twilight but has morphed into a lot more than that. a place where cryptids, mythology, science fiction, and fantasy all come together. along the northern california coast, next to the oregon border.
- ✿ the cullinane family - a powerful court of woodland faeries. they are the deer of the forest and they will make sure you follow their laws
- ✿ edric cullinane - the youngest son, prince and heir to the throne. anxious and delicate, the court revolts against him, threatened by the break of the matrilineal line
- ✿ mona cullinane - the middle daughter, deemed unfit for the throne. she only cares about skateboarding
- ✿ gwen cullinane - the oldest daughter, refused the throne for her own independence. is less high fae and more imp in personality
- ✿ sex demons - literal definition of the term. a community of incubi and succubi and all that fall in between. they have a vivid and lively presence in wyrmwood, and run a booming pornography, erotica, and prostitution business. their business is heavily regulated, to protect humans and other folk from being hurt in their practices or workplaces. they can be offputting, but they mean well
- ✿ rowan - half incubus. he’s recently discovered what he is, and despite appreciating their love for him, he’s desperate for a normal house where porn isn’t shot in the living room constantly. he’s dating aisling.
- ✿ the darker sex demons - those that almost fall under the labels of incubi and succubi, but are more alien, grotesque, and brutal than the others. they really are nice people, they swear. won’t you come to their dinner party? they would adore having you for dinner.
- ✿ the felone family - a crueler sex demon family, they have demonic cat familiars that are never what they seem. they try their hardest to be a normal, not scary family, but they’re still unsettling.
- ✿ dilana felone - the goth one. the youngest daughter. she’s half human, and struggles to come to terms with the strangest aspects of what she is. despite how she and her cat are unnerving, she’s a nice girl. she’s dating robin
